Continuing our process of combining old world culinary connections
with today's eclectic fusion of world wide cuisine, we worked to develop
three styles of mustards.
Over three thousand years of being a condiment for meat, to a sandwich
spread, to an integral ingredient in sauces, dressings, dips, etc.
mustard has played many roles in our food heritage.
Our three distinct styles of mustard have similar uses, based on your
own preferences. For this reason, we don't specify which mustard to use
in our list of serving suggestions:
Spread for all kinds of sandwiches
Add to deviled egg mixture
In potato salad dressing
Brush over pork loin roast before grilling
With brats (this calls for Bavarian Beer Mustard!)
In homemade salad dressing/vinaigrette
In cheese sauce over cooked veggies
With cocktail franks
In mac and cheese
In baked beans
Brush on shrimp or whole fish on the grill
Brush on Tuna fillets
Topping for sharp cheese
Secret spice - 1 tsp in chocolate cookie mix
Bavarian Beer Mustard Pizza (check the recipe page)

Bavarian
Beer Mustard: This is a classic German style preparation, with mustard seed
and horseradish producing a condiment with a great affinity to meat and hard
cheeses. The addition of Becks® beer tempers the
turmeric and other spices to give a creamy base for a whole seed mustard.
We love the crunchy mustard seed texture.
Our Bavarian Beer Mustard is so popular for gift baskets that we also offer
it in a 3.6 oz jar. Check our prices/catalog for details.
Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Mustard Seed,
Horseradish, Salt, Spices, Becks® Beer,
Sugar, Peppers, Turmeric, Garlic Powder, No Trans Fat.

Mustard: In the Tewkesbury/Norwich tradition of English mustard dating
from the 1600s, we've produced a creamy country mustard with the mustard
seeds and spices (turmeric and paprika) marinated in our own cider
vinegar before combining with the remainder of ingredients.
Ingredients: Vinegar, Water, Olive Oil, Mustard Seed,
White Wine, Salt, Egg Yolks, Sugar, Spices, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid,

Dijon
Mustard: In the mid 1800s in Dijon, France, a producer added grape must
(fermenting wine) to his mustard production, creating a unique subtle
style of mustard. In that tradition, we also have our own version of
creamy Dijon Mustard.
Ingredients: Vinegar, Water, Mustard Seed, White Wine,
Spices, Salt, Citric Acid, Contains No Trans Fat.
